After Bob’s successful business career as President and CEO of a major corporation, the Halls moved back to the basics, departing the hustle and bustle of New Jersey to settle in the charming countryside of Vermont. Never content to simply relax, Bob & Penny bought an apple orchard and became full-time farmers. They opened a country store, which grew into a well-known gourmet food products market, and a bakery, culminating in a 38 state mail-order business.
The benefits from this experience are extensive. Penny learned that she enjoyed the administrative end of the business, handling all the details of the different operations.
